Plastic pallet UPAL-K
The new UPAL-K from Utz is a heavy-duty pallet with a particularly flat design. Thanks to a well thought-out design, it is optimally protected against breakage. Replaceable runners ensure excellent cost-effectiveness and a film securing system in accordance with EU guidelines secures your goods.
Resilient space saver
Due to its reduced height, the UPAL-K creates space for an additional layer of pallets during truck transport. This reduces freight costs and ensures an improved CO₂ balance sheet in logistics. Despite its slimmer design, the UPAL-K offers optimum stability: the pallet also compensates for heavy loads with absolute ease due to its strategically designed ribbed structure, thus significantly reducing the probability of breakage.
Repair with ease
When developing the UPAL-K, the focus was primarily on durability. Since pallets are exposed to heavy loads in daily operation, wear and tear and damage are almost impossible to avoid. However, the UPAL-K is designed in such a way that complete replacements are required much less frequently. Thus, the user-friendly repair system makes it possible to replace defective runners in just a few steps, so that the pallet can remain in use for as long as possible.
Film protection according to EU directive
As a specialist for load carriers, with the UPAL-K we offer a range that meets the highest safety requirements. Optimum load securing is a top priority for the transport of goods: on the one hand to ensure full road safety, on the other to avoid costly load damage. To ensure optimal security on the UPAL-K, we have therefore equipped the corner areas of their runners with film securing in accordance with EU Directive 2014/47.
Improved foot design against shocks
Well thought-out in detail: the feet of UPAL-K have optimized ribbing to provide additional protection against impact.
Anti-slip elements
Even sensitive goods must be moved quickly and mechanically in daily warehouse logistics. Everything must be secure. With anti-slip elements the new UPAL-K also ensures all-round safe handling – whether in forklift traffic, when used with pallet trucks or other industrial trucks.
Available in different materials
The new UPAL generation is recyclable. We produce them both from new material such as PP and ESD or from UIC®. Our brand UIC® stands for high quality secondary raw materials, which are documented and certified. Products made of UIC® offer almost the same material properties as virgin material and therefore fulfill the usual Utz quality.
