Production method - Thermoforming

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process which reforms thermoplastic synthetics. The resulting load carriers are usually called component holders. Component holders are able to perfectly incorporate the stored products into so-called nests. Heating the sheet makes the material pliable. It is pulled over the tool by generating a vacuum. Finally the finished tray will still have to be sawn, milled or punched to size.

Production method - Injection moulding

Two plungers press the halves of the mould together and the liquid plastic can be injected into the cavities of the moulding tool. The tool then opens, the finished container is taken out and the whole process is repeated "shot after shot".

Production method - Extrusion

Extrusion is a process with the aid of which plastic sheets are produced, which are then further processed by thermoforming to form load carriers.

Inmould Labelling

Barcode labels are inserted into the injection-moulding tool and are bonded to the container. This prolongs label life, especially during washing.
