Our working world has transformed more than ever in recent years: New Work is the keyword. Digitization, hybrid work models, or fast-paced work are just a few terms that describe the changes. However, what sounds like a challenge - and to a certain extent it is - will not only optimize internal company processes in the long run but also create benefits for our customers. We are happy to accept this challenge!
Utz, as an international company, is networked; the spatial distances to our customers are overcome virtually, and we can make uniform offers worldwide. Customer contact is possible around the clock, completely independent of location. Today, it is less critical whether an employee is on-site; dependence on other employees is decreasing in everyday work. Conversely, customers benefit from short response times and simple communication channels. Efficient collaboration - both among employees and between corporate partners - is constantly being improved by digital tools.
In the productive area, too, interfaces are increasingly digitized, so we gain time and increase quality. In managing projects and teams, the focus is increasingly on organization and less on controlling work. Routine work is being automated so that the valuable know-how of our experts can be used for value-creating activities such as handling processes, optimizing workflows, and developing new products. However, close coordination at the interfaces of processes and careful handling of data is needed even more intensively in the hybrid and digital working world. In the future, the motto at Utz will be: “It’s all about data.”
The manufacturing process and production control have changed entirely with the digitalization of our processes and the introduction of innovative IT systems. Where there used to be bits of paper everywhere, orders are planned and controlled digitally.
The Utz Group has arrived in the age of Industry 4.0. This creates the opportunity for the future to digitally network with our customers and offer valuable new services along the way.
